nationalities for a permanent home in the province.
Eligibility requirements
for Ontario Human capital:
Ontario Express entry:
An applicant must have an Express
entry profile in either Federal
Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) or Canadian
Experience Class (CEC)
He/she must score a minimum of CLB level 7 in the language
proficiency test except for Ontario skilled trades, which requires CLB level 5.
He/she must have a minimum one year of continuous, full-time
work experience in any NOC Skill Level 0, A or B.
He/she must score a minimum CRS score of 400 in the
point-assessment table
International graduate stream:
An applicant must complete his/her masters or doctoral from
an eligible Ontario’s university within the last two years
He/she must score a minimum of CLB level 7 in the language
proficiency test
He/she must have proof of past residency in the province for
at least 12 months prior to application
Application process for
Ontario Express entry:
Create an account online and fill the application form
Submit the supporting documents along with the application
form
Pay the application fee of amount $ 1500 (CAD)
If the province finds his/her profile suitable for a
provincial nomination, then it offers Notification of Interest (NOI) through
regular NOIs draw
Once he/she accepts an NOI, there are 45 days to submit the
complete application for a provincial nomination
Note: For express
entry-linked immigration streams of OINP, it is mandatory to have an Express
entry profile in either FSWC or CEC.
Ontario employer job offer:
Ontario employer job offer brings applications from foreign
nationals having a valid job offer from an employer in the province. It has
three sub categories which include,
Foreign worker:
It brings the applications from foreign workers who have job offer from a
Canadian employer.
International student
with job offer: It brings applications from foreign workers who have
completed Canadian educational credential as well as have a job offer from the
Canadian employer. Canadian educational credential must meet either of the
following conditions,
- A full-time degree or diploma of minimum duration of two years, or;
- A degree or diploma of one year which necessarily requires a previously completed degree for admission
In-Demand Skills:
It brings applications from foreign workers who have work experience in any
in-demand occupation and have a job offer from Canadian employer.
Eligibility for Ontario
employer job offer:
A valid job offer for full-time permanent job classified in
NOC skill type 0, A or B from a Canadian employer except for In-demand skills
stream where occupation must be listed in the OINP’s in-demand occupation
A full-time work experience of minimum of two years in the
same NOC code occupation listed in the job offer except for In-demand skills
stream where minimum requirement is of one year
A valid licence or authority to practice the listed job in
the job offer in the province

employer job offer
Create an online account and fill the application form there
for foreign worker
Submit the supporting documents along with the application
form
Pay application fees application fee
If the province selects the profile for a provincial
nomination, then an applicant become eligible to apply for temporary work
permit based on the issued work permit support letter
Ontario business:
It brings applications from internationals and organizations
that have sufficient money to invest in buying or establishing a business in Ontario.
It has one immigration stream, Ontario Entrepreneur stream
Eligibility for Ontario
entrepreneur:
An applicant must score a minimum of CLB level 4 in the
language proficiency test
He/she must have at least three years of work experience in
operating or managing the business
He/she must have sufficient funds to invest in the business
in Ontario which include,
- A minimum net worth of $1.5 million (CAD) and a minimum personal investment of $1 million (CAD) for business within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- A minimum net worth of $800,000 (CAD) and a minimum personal investment of $ 500,000 million (CAD) for business outside the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- A minimum net worth of $800,000 (CAD) and a minimum personal investment of $ 500,000 million (CAD), for business in Information and Communications Technology (ICT)/Digital Communications sector
Application process for
Ontario entrepreneur:
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)
Pay the application fee of amount $3,500 (CAD) and provide a
business Establishment Plan (BEP).
On getting approval, sign a business performance agreement
with Ontario.
The SINP will issue a work permit support letter which
enables applicants to apply for an IRCC-approved temporary work permit.
Once arriving in Canada, the applicant needs to operate
his/her business in Ontario according to the terms Business performance
agreement. He/she has a maximum of 20 months to submit a request for a
provincial nomination through Ontario.
